Chuck Dickson is enjoying his first year at MAC. He just retired from teaching 28 years in Richland One with 5 of those years in Lexington One. He has taught every Social Studies discipline at least once. He earned a BA in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy and Religion. He then earned an MAT in Secondary Social Studies all at Winthrop University. He has a Masters + 30 Certificate with the Gifted and Talented Endorsement as well as AP Human Geography. His goal is to sponsor a Model United Nations Team here at MAC. In the next couple years he hopes to be able to teach 9th and 10th grades and also assist with administrative duties at this wonderful school. He has successfully completed the Leadership Class at the State Department of Education and has taken 4 core administrative courses at USC. He is enjoying getting to know the children of MAC and looks forward to many successful years here.
